Senior Security Engineer (AI)

Location: Fully remote across Argentina, Colombia, Uruguay, the Dominican Republic, Brazil, and Chile, aligned to the client's working day and United States time zones.

What you will do

• Harden cloud infrastructure, APIs, internal tooling, and CI/CD pipelines through encryption, secrets management, logging, and access controls.
• Own vulnerability management, penetration testing, adversarial testing, threat modeling, manual security reviews, and remediation through closure.
• Secure AI and agentic systems against prompt injection, adversarial inputs, unauthorized actions, unsafe outputs, and data leakage.
• Build continuous security audits across client codebases and define their checks, severity grading, and accuracy.
• Lead monitoring, detection, incident response, containment, root-cause analysis, and preventative remediation.
• Partner with engineering, Product, Compliance, Operations, clients, auditors, and enterprise prospects on architecture, controls, questionnaires, and secure development practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in security engineering, infrastructure security, application security, DevSecOps, or offensive security.
• Deep production experience with AWS, vulnerability remediation, code review, CI/CD, Git, containers, and API design.
• Experience securing AI or LLM-powered systems or automated agents, including prompt injection, adversarial inputs, unauthorized actions, unsafe outputs, and data leakage.
• Working knowledge of SOC 2 and PCI DSS, plus experience with security monitoring, incident response, and production systems.
• Active experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
• Clear written and spoken English at C1 level or above. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI guardrails, adversarial AI techniques, behavioral anomaly detection, SIEM, observability, endpoint security, and infrastructure-as-code security.
• Terraform, Bicep, penetration testing tools, or cloud security tooling experience.
• Background in a high-growth startup, fintech, banking, or payments environment.
• CISSP, CISM, AWS Security Specialty, or similar certification.
• Open-source security contributions, technical writing, or active security community participation.
