Senior AI Architect (Generative AI)

Location: United States; candidates must reside within reasonable commuting distance of a hirify.global office or approved coworking location. Hybrid work includes at least three days per week in a hirify.global office or approved coworking location between client engagements, with possible onsite client work based on engagement needs.

Base salary: $117,300–$121,400 annually, plus an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Define and own end-to-end architectures for data and AI projects, including cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, model serving, generative AI applications, and agent-based systems.
• Act as the primary technical contact for CIO, CISO, and engineering stakeholders, aligning solutions with business, security, regulatory, and cost requirements.
• Lead architecture reviews, design sessions, technical governance, and production-readiness efforts covering scalability, reliability, observability, and cost optimization.
• Guide engineering teams, remove technical impediments, and oversee projects from advisory and assessments through POCs, MVPs, and production deployment.
• Support pre-sales through technical scoping, effort estimation, proposals, client presentations, and workshops.
• Mentor consultants and engineers while contributing to internal IP, accelerators, and reference architectures.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in solution architecture, cloud architecture, or senior engineering with significant design responsibility.
• Deep expertise in at least two of AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Databricks, OpenAI, Anthropic, and NVIDIA.
• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture patterns, data engineering, classical machine learning, deep learning, generative AI, and autonomous agents.
• Proven ability to work with senior client stakeholders and communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluent French and professional English required; applicants must already be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Hands-on Python, Terraform/IaC, or similar coding experience.
• MLOps or LLMOps tooling and production deployment experience.
• Professional cloud or data engineering certifications.
• Management consulting, client-facing delivery, AI compliance, or responsible AI experience.
