Quality Assurance and Data Tester (AI)

What you will do

• Validate data pipelines, integration workflows, data onboarding, transformations, and downstream use cases on the Halo enterprise cloud platform.
• Verify the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of data migrated from legacy on-premises systems to cloud architectures.
• Test analytics outputs and AI agent use cases against functional, technical, and business requirements.
• Design and execute functional, integration, regression, backend, and data-level tests using clear, traceable test cases and scripts.
• Perform SQL-based validation of tables, transformations, and aggregations in Delta Lake and Databricks.
• Document and track defects, collaborate with engineers and stakeholders, maintain test evidence, and participate in Agile ceremonies.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with software or data quality assurance testing, including test case design and execution.
• Strong experience in functional, integration, regression, backend, and data testing.
• Solid SQL skills, including complex queries, joins, and aggregations.
• Experience testing data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, or legacy-to-cloud data migrations.
• Familiarity with Databricks, AWS, Delta tables, data lakehouse concepts, Agile/Scrum, and test traceability documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills for work across matrixed teams.

Nice to have

• Experience validating AI/ML model outputs or AI agent-based use cases.
• Familiarity with Bronze, Silver, and Gold medallion architecture layers.
• Experience with data or API test automation tools and frameworks.
• Experience in FISMA High, FedRAMP, or other regulated multi-tenant federal environments.
• Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar defect-tracking and test-management tools.
