Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst (SaaS)

Location: Remote within the United States; not hiring in California or the New York metro area

Salary: $65,000–$75,000 USD base pay annually, plus bonus, equity, and benefits

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end accounts receivable operations, including invoicing for new business, expansions, modifications, renewals, multi-year agreements, and overages.
• Execute customer-focused collections strategies using NetSuite and Tesorio to improve payment timeliness and cash collection.
• Apply ACH, wire, credit card, and Stripe payments; investigate unapplied cash, chargebacks, and short-pays.
• Issue credit and debit memos, monitor customer credit limits and holds, and document billing adjustments.
• Analyze aging reports, AR trends, collections performance, and cash-flow metrics to provide actionable insights.
• Support month-end and year-end close, reconciliations, audit schedules, SOX controls, billing operations, and process improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, collections, or a related field.
• Extensive experience with NetSuite ERP and SuiteBilling is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and customer-service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Ability to work independently and reliably in a fully remote environment.
• Must be able to pass federal, state, and county background checks and complete local in-person verification.

Nice to have

• Experience with Salesforce, Zendesk, Tesorio, Gmail, and Stripe.
• Familiarity with SaaS business models and subscription billing.
• Experience adopting AI and automation tools to improve operational efficiency.
