Research Associate - Biochemistry (m/f/d)

hirify.global conducts research projects with the Biochemistry team in collaboration with Crelux, covering a wide variety of target classes and modalities.

What you will do

• Perform and optimize plate-based biochemical assays, including HTRF/TR-FRET, luminescence-based assays, protein–protein interaction assays, and enzyme kinetics studies.
• Develop, maintain, and revise standard operating procedures.
• Document experimental data, support analysis and interpretation, and contribute to result reporting.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and help resolve problems within the area of responsibility.
• Develop new methods and assays while continuously improving existing processes.
• Maintain accurate experimental records in accordance with internal guidelines and quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline, or qualification as a laboratory technician such as MTA, BTA, PTA, or equivalent.
• Hands-on laboratory experience in an industrial, CRO, or academic research environment; a PhD is not required.
• Experience with plate-based biochemical assays, including HTRF/TR-FRET, luminescence-based assays, protein–protein interaction assays, and enzyme kinetics studies.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate experimental records.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and interest in adopting new technologies, methodologies, and laboratory techniques.

Nice to have

• German language skills.
• Proficiency in Chinese.
