Research Associate - Cellular Functional Assays and Organoids (m/f/d)

What you will do

• Perform cell-based assays, including proliferation, viability, reporter assays, immunoassays, and nanoBRET.
• Culture and maintain primary cells and adherent or suspension cell lines.
• Establish, optimize, and validate new assay formats.
• Document experimental work according to industry standards and internal SOPs.
• Analyze and interpret experimental data using tools such as Excel and GraphPad Prism.
• Collaborate with senior scientists and laboratory teams and contribute to study reports and scientific presentations.

Requirements

• Completed training as a BTA, CTA, or MTA, or a bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, or a related life-science field.
• A PhD is not required.
• Hands-on experience with cell culture and practical experience with cellular assays and basic molecular biology techniques.
• Accurate, structured, and reliable working style with strong teamwork and motivation.
• Good written and spoken English and German are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with stem cell culture, 3D cell culture, and organoids.
