Senior Scientist - Cellular Functional Assays and Organoids (m/f/d)

What you will do

• Design and conduct cellular functional assays for hit characterization, high-throughput screening, and compound profiling.
• Develop state-of-the-art assays for cellular profiling and characterization of small-molecule activity.
• Optimize and miniaturize robust screening assays to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Interpret assay data and deliver high-quality results supporting drug discovery programs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary departments to deliver client projects and develop innovative solutions.

Requirements

• PhD in Biology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture and cellular functional assay development for drug development projects.
• Expertise in advanced cellular assays for target engagement, signaling, reporter assays, and assessment of small-molecule and other therapeutic modalities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Excellent English communication skills and the ability to work independently in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with 3D models, primary cells, or organoids.
• Experience with CRISPR/Cas9 tools.
• German language skills.
