Senior Linux Sysadmin (Security Operations and Engineering) (Cybersecurity)

Location: Lithuania or Poland, with office work encouraged and the possibility of up to two remote days per week. A work-from-anywhere policy allows working from almost anywhere in the world.

Gross salary: €3,800–€6,300 per month for the Lithuanian market; PLN 18,500–30,000 per month for the Polish market.

What you will do

• Manage security, patching, upgrades, and hardening for team-maintained Linux servers and services.
• Maintain critical security infrastructure, including secure server connections, secret vaults, version control systems, and bastion hosts.
• Help sysadmins and developers troubleshoot system access and resolve security issues.
• Maintain the backup service and improve infrastructure reliability.
• Build automation with Ansible and Terraform/OpenTofu, including infrastructure as code.
• Build CI/CD pipelines and work with AWS, GCP, and Kubernetes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in system administration or a similar role.
• Strong Linux system administration skills.
• Strong focus on automation, especially Ansible and Terraform/OpenTofu.
• Interest in cybersecurity and a good understanding of networking.
• Ability to document work and share knowledge with other team members.
