Linux System Administrator

Location: Remote from Indonesia; coverage handovers with infrastructure monitoring teams in Kaunas and Vilnius.

What you will do

• Monitor physical and virtual servers, data-center-level networking, and hosting infrastructure, responding quickly to operational issues.
• Own incidents from response and resolution through communication and preventive post-mortems.
• Build and tune Prometheus and Alertmanager monitoring and alerting to improve signal quality.
• Use Kubernetes, Ansible, and Terraform to automate and harden managed infrastructure.
• Coordinate coverage handovers with infrastructure monitoring counterparts in Kaunas and Vilnius.
• Collaborate with data center technicians, systems engineers, network engineers, and service-owning teams.

Requirements

• Solid Linux system administration experience with physical and virtual servers.
• Experience with incident response, resolution, communication, and post-mortems.
• Ability to troubleshoot data-center-level networking.
• Proficiency with Prometheus and Alertmanager for metrics and alerting.
• Excellent written communication on complex technical topics.
• Constructive feedback exchange, strong documentation habits, and an active approach to asking questions.
