Senior Unity Technical Artist (Unity)

Location: Krakow, Malopolskie, Poland (Remote)

What you will do

• Translate artistic direction and gameplay intentions into technically feasible, performant solutions.
• Develop and optimize Unity shaders, materials, lighting, graphics, layouts, and rendering setups.
• Define staging for Unity projects and create mock-ups for programmers and mobile game interfaces.
• Implement flexible user interfaces across different mobile platforms.
• Create documentation and mentor content developers.

Requirements

• Professional experience with Unity and C#.
• Experience with 2D animation, particle systems, and animating 2D assets in Unity.
• Knowledge of shader development with HLSL and Unity URP/HDRP rendering pipelines.
• Understanding of technical constraints, optimization, and implementation.
• Ability to prototype, test, and implement new features quickly.
• Fluent English and a portfolio demonstrating the full range of technical art skills are required.

Nice to have

• Experience in an agile project environment.
• Affinity with casual games and knowledge of usability and freemium best practices.
• Experience designing user interfaces for multiple platforms.
