TL;DR
Data Product Manager (Data/BI): Owns and rationalizes a legacy Finance report inventory while managing delivery backlogs for a modernized data platform with an accent on reporting products, semantic layers, and stakeholder alignment. Focus on defining acceptance criteria, resolving requirements ambiguity with Finance stakeholders, and driving design validation, build, and cutover readiness against fixed delivery gates.

What you will do
- Own and rationalize a large legacy Finance report and capability inventory, deciding what should be carried forward, rebuilt, redirected to the new platform, or retired.
- Groom and prioritize the delivery backlog across replication, curated data, semantic modeling, and reporting-enablement workstreams.
- Define and validate acceptance criteria with Finance and business stakeholders.
- Facilitate design validation by gathering report and table requirements, resolving ambiguity, and locking scope.
- Coordinate with architecture, security and privacy governance, and data development leads to keep scope, design, and delivery aligned.
- Track progress against design-validation, build, and cutover-readiness gates and communicate status to client stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience as a product manager, product owner, or business analyst on data, BI, or reporting programs with end-to-end backlog ownership.
- Experience rationalizing a large legacy report inventory into a governed, business-defined reporting product.
- Ability to work directly with Finance or other business stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and resolve requirements ambiguity.
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder-management skills, including driving decisions within fixed delivery deadlines.
- Working knowledge of source-to-curated data flows, semantic layers, and BI tooling.
- Fluent English at C1 level is required for daily collaboration with US-based Finance and business stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with financial or general-ledger reporting, including charts of accounts, dimensions, and close processes.
- Experience in mortgage, lending, or financial-services reporting.
- Product or requirements experience with Power BI or another enterprise BI semantic layer.
