Sr AI/ML Engineer (LATAM Remote)

Location: Remote in LATAM; Guadalajara, Mexico

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end machine learning initiatives, from problem framing and data exploration through model development, evaluation, and improvement.
• Develop Python-based machine learning pipelines and experimentation workflows for NLP-focused applications.
• Build and integrate generative AI solutions with frameworks such as LangChain and CrewAI.
• Define evaluation criteria and conduct structured model and LLM evaluations using relevant metrics and frameworks.
• Use Databricks and cloud provider services to manage data, training, experimentation, and deployment workflows.

Requirements

• Strong applied experience in data science and machine learning, including production-oriented model development and evaluation.
• Demonstrated ability to build AI/ML solutions with Python and improve NLP-focused machine learning systems.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain or CrewAI and practical experience applying generative AI techniques.
• Experience with graph-based solutions such as Neo4j, including ontologies and context graphs for AI agents.
• Experience developing agentic harnesses with memory management and dynamic context compression.
• Ability to work effectively in a Databricks-based environment for model development and experimentation.

Nice to have

• Experience with Apache Spark.
• Experience with LLM evaluation frameworks such as LangSmith.
