Senior Manager, Accounts Receivable (AI): Leading APAC accounts receivable operations for a global logistics technology company with an accent on cash collection performance, past-due reduction, credit-block mitigation, and AI-enabled automation. Focus on managing multi-entity, multi-currency workflows, improving DSO and reconciliation accuracy, and developing a regional AR team in Shenzhen.

What you will do

  • Own APAC accounts receivable performance, including DSO, collections effectiveness, aging targets, and KPI reporting.
  • Reduce past-due balances through collection strategies, escalation protocols, cash application, and dispute resolution.
  • Lead automation and AI-enabled improvements across dunning, reconciliation, cash application, and reporting workflows.
  • Partner with Billing, Operations, Sales, Account Management, and Customer Success teams to resolve multi-entity disputes and reconciliations.
  • Mitigate credit blocks, strengthen upstream controls, and ensure compliance with global AR policies, SOX controls, and regional regulations.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the regional AR team while standardizing APAC processes and presenting risks and improvement plans to senior finance stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Credit & Collections, including 3+ years managing teams.
  • Experience with high-volume, multi-entity, multi-region operations and a proven record of reducing past-due AR and improving DSO.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP and AR systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP, plus experience with automation or AI-enabled process improvement.
  • Strong Excel and BI reporting skills, with the ability to build and defend KPI dashboards.
  • Experience with people leadership, cross-functional stakeholder management, data integrity, and ethical business practices.

  • CPA or CMA certification.
  • APAC market or regulatory exposure.
  • Additional language skills.
