Banking Operations Manager (Fintech)

What you will do

• Oversee payment lifecycles from initiation and processing through settlement and reconciliation.
• Monitor payment flows, identify failures and bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage banking and payment-provider vendors, including contracts, SLAs, pricing, and performance issues.
• Lead integrations with new payment providers and banking partners across technical, compliance, and operations teams.
• Maintain correspondent banking relationships, account administration, and liquidity management.
• Lead and develop the banking operations team, tracking KPIs and reporting performance to senior management.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in banking operations, payments, or financial services, including at least 1 year in a managerial role.
• Strong understanding of payment lifecycles, settlement, reconciliation, and payment authorization.
• Experience managing vendors and negotiating SLAs and contracts.
• Familiarity with correspondent banking operations and account maintenance.
• Experience collaborating with compliance, risk, and technology teams in a regulated environment.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, is required.
