Senior Manufacturing Product Engineer (Optical)

Location: Pathum Thani, Thailand (Navanakorn). The role is performed in office, engineering laboratory, cleanroom, and manufacturing-floor environments, with occasional support outside normal working hours.

What you will do

• Own product definition, technical performance, and manufacturing execution for assigned Cloud products.
• Act as the primary technical interface between Manufacturing and R&D for product-related matters.
• Support product industrialization, NPI, product transfer, qualification, production ramp-up, and sustaining engineering.
• Maintain accurate BOMs, drawings, specifications, configurations, product documentation, and engineering changes.
• Improve product yield, performance, quality, reliability, and cost through data analysis, material evaluation, and product optimization.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, R&D, Process Engineering, Quality, and NPI teams on technical risks, corrective actions, and manufacturing readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Optical, Manufacturing Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• 6–10 years of experience in product engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related role in high-technology manufacturing.
• Strong experience with NPI, product transfer, volume ramp, and sustaining engineering.
• Knowledge of product lifecycle management, configuration control, BOM management, engineering changes, product qualification, DfX, and structured problem-solving.
• Experience in optical, photonic, semiconductor, or electronics manufacturing is strongly preferred.
• Effective English communication is required for collaboration with local and global teams.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a relevant engineering or science discipline.
• Experience with Design for Manufacturability, Assembly, Test, and Reliability.
• Competence in product ownership, technical leadership, risk management, change management, and data-driven decision-making.
