Senior Full-Stack Engineer - Browser Extension

hirify.global develops an enterprise security platform centered on a browser extension that runs in real time across managed endpoints.

What you will do

• Architect, build, maintain, publish, version, and roll out the Chrome extension.
• Own the browser policy enforcement engine that converts security policies into real-time decisions on visited pages.
• Build browser security capabilities including DOM inspection and manipulation, warning and blocking flows, and event capture.
• Optimize page-load impact, memory footprint, and CPU usage across sites.
• Extend support to Edge, Brave, Firefox, and Safari WebExtensions.
• Build backend APIs, services, configuration delivery, real-time updates, and React/TypeScript web application features.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience in a relevant role.
• Expert TypeScript and JavaScript skills with deep knowledge of browser fundamentals, including the DOM, event loop, cookies, storage, origins, CSP, and extension security.
• Production experience with Manifest V3, service workers, content scripts, and extension messaging.
• Strong React experience and backend experience building and operating APIs and services.
• Strong debugging skills with Chrome DevTools, extension internals, and network tooling.
• A security mindset and the ability to anticipate how malicious pages or users could compromise the product.

Nice to have

• Experience building DLP, SSE/SWG, enterprise browser, or other security products.
• Familiarity with Chromium internals or browser source code.
• Cross-browser extension development for Firefox or Safari.
