Global Data Risk Expert Lead (Banking)

What you will do

• Define, embed, and oversee enterprise-wide data risk management across data governance, architecture, quality, reporting, ethics, and AI data.
• Lead the bank-wide RCSA process for GDM control standards, data protection, and AI and ethics risks.
• Define the scope and approach for Key Control Monitoring and oversee annual planning, testing timelines, attestations, and continuous monitoring.
• Define and maintain data-related KRIs, coordinate iRisk reporting, monitor threshold breaches, and assess data risk exposure.
• Oversee global and local iRisk items, waivers, deviations, remediation actions, closure memos, and supporting evidence.
• Establish and oversee data ethics governance, metrics, committees, awareness, and risk mitigation across the data lifecycle.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in regulatory reporting, audit, or control design, ideally in banking.
• Strong knowledge of data management, data ethics, reporting control frameworks, and regulatory requirements, including BCBS239, GDPR, the EU AI Act, and DORA.
• Proven experience implementing and monitoring control standards and managing stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with process optimization, automation, and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field and excellent English proficiency.
