Junior Business Data Analyst (Analytics/SQL)

Location: Cluj, Romania; hybrid work with at least three days per week in the office

What you will do

• Deliver operationalized analytics solutions and client-facing reports based on stakeholder requirements.
• Document data structures and identify the insights they can provide.
• Build and improve dashboards using front-end development, design, and UI/UX best practices.
• Collaborate with technical teams to implement and test product and data improvements.
• Investigate product issues and propose fixes that improve reliability and usability.
• Present trends, narratives, and actionable recommendations through data visualization.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in business analytics or a related role.
• Experience delivering analytics solutions and reports that influence business outcomes.
• Knowledge of relational databases, basic ETL concepts, and SQL or database tools for data extraction and preparation.
• Hands-on experience with Qlik, Tableau, Power BI, or similar dashboarding tools.
• Familiarity with pivot tables and lookups, plus strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to engage with non-technical stakeholders and translate requirements into valuable analytics deliverables.

Nice to have

• Experience applying UI/UX principles to analytics or dashboard development.
• Prior exposure to analytics products or platform development.
