DevOps Engineer (Azure DevOps)

Location: Bucharest, Romania — Dacia One; occasional travel to Amsterdam.

What you will do

• Own the full technology stack across development, test, acceptance, and production environments.
• Automate regression testing, deployments, operations, backups and restores, failover, security monitoring, and full-stack monitoring.
• Manage operating systems, middleware, databases, certificates, access controls, vulnerabilities, and patching.
• Improve monitoring with Grafana, Prometheus, and Log4all, and support high-availability and disaster-recovery tests.
• Build and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines, environments, and continuous delivery processes.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum squad to analyze requirements, resolve root causes, define technical changes, and deliver improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role.
• Hands-on experience with an automation tool such as Ansible, Chef, Salt, or Terraform.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or Google Cloud, CI/CD tooling, and release automation using Python, Shell, or Ansible.
• Strong knowledge of Red Hat operating systems, networking, clustered environments, server management, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with virtualization or containerization technologies such as VMware, OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools, REST APIs, analytical problem-solving, and collaborative Agile delivery.

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of Spring Boot and Oracle databases.
• Low-latency infrastructure experience.
• Security and IT risk knowledge, including SOX and vulnerability management.
• Advanced English and foreign-language skills.
