What you will do

• Follow standard operating procedures and maintain compliance with pharmacy practice standards.
• Support the Superintendent Pharmacist, Head of Pharmacy, and Pharmacy Manager in running the pharmacy.
• Deputise for the Pharmacy Manager when required and help train and develop the pharmacy workforce.
• Check dispensed prescriptions and coordinate order dispatch through courier services.
• Manage pharmacy near misses, create action plans, and work with the Risk and Safety team to resolve incidents.
• Support compounding, inventory management, service development, and patient experience improvements.

Requirements

• Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Demonstrated professional pharmacy expertise and knowledge of national and local pharmacy services.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to provide effective face-to-face support to patients and customers.
• Collaborative, team-centred approach with a passion for pharmacy and customer care.
• Must be able to work onsite in Wallingford and commit to at least one weekend day regularly each week, or both weekend days.
