Clinical Research Nurse

Location: GBR - London (Hammersmith Hospital). On-site work in a clinical trial imaging clinic, Monday to Friday, 8:00–16:00, with flexibility for scan schedules.

What you will do

• Provide hands-on care and reassurance to clinical study participants.
• Conduct pre-clinical and safety assessments, administer specified drugs, insert cannulas, and collect blood samples.
• Coordinate study logistics, assessments, appointments, and documentation.
• Manage assigned studies in accordance with approved protocols, SOPs, and ICH-GCP.
• Perform quality control, monitoring visit support, self-audits, change controls, and study data checks.
• Process, store, and dispatch study samples while following applicable laboratory and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Registered General Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Experience in nursing; acute medicine experience is relevant, while neurology experience is advantageous.
• Resuscitation training to ILS level and competence in using emergency equipment.
• Knowledge of clinical research processes and ICH-GCP standards.
• Computer literacy and proficiency with electronic data capture systems; full training is provided where needed.
• Ability to work flexibly around scan schedules and maintain competence in technical equipment and laboratory procedures.
