Data Engineer (Mid-Level)

Location: Fully remote from the United Kingdom, France, or selected EU countries

What you will do

• Build and maintain ELT pipelines while monitoring pipeline health and data freshness.
• Write and maintain configuration-driven pipeline definitions and deploy workflows to Databricks across a multi-tenant environment.
• Extend the modelling layer and support CI/CD and data ingestion projects.
• Collaborate with data and product teams to deliver reliable, well-tested data.
• Participate in code reviews and improve platform standards and documentation.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of data engineering experience.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Experience with Apache Spark or PySpark.
• Ability to monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve pipeline failures.
• Familiarity with lakehouse concepts.
• Experience with Git, Databricks, streaming or CDC, AWS, and Great Expectations.

Nice to have

• Exposure to YAML.
• Experience building analytics data models in Spark.
