TL;DR
Databricks Engineer (Databricks/Python): Building and maintaining modern cloud data platforms and data integration workflows for enterprise clients with an accent on Unity Catalog, PySpark, Spark optimization, and cloud infrastructure. Focus on designing scalable data pipelines, optimizing Spark jobs, and configuring Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud environments.

Location: Poland or remote from Poland

What you will do

  • Build and maintain modern cloud data platforms on Databricks with Unity Catalog.
  • Design and maintain data pipelines and data integration workflows.
  • Optimize Spark jobs and support reliable data processing at enterprise scale.
  • Configure and maintain cloud platforms using Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams on a data management project.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience implementing and maintaining Databricks data platforms with Unity Catalog.
  • Strong Python and PySpark skills, with experience optimizing Spark jobs.
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud and with data integration workflows.
  • English at B2 level or higher, written and spoken.
  • Sole proprietorship registered in an EU country is required.

Nice to have

  • Infrastructure configuration experience.
