Senior Test Automation Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid work from Gdańsk or Warszawa, with three days per week from the office

Salary: 900–1,200 PLN/day on a B2B contract

What you will do

• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated tests for backend and frontend applications.
• Create and maintain test automation solutions using Java, Cucumber, Playwright, and TypeScript.
• Perform automated and manual API testing for REST services, including API mocking and service virtualisation.
• Analyse requirements, identify testing scenarios, and prepare test cases, documentation, and reports.
• Execute manual tests on desktop and mobile platforms.
• Support CI/CD processes and Jenkins integration while collaborating with Agile developers, analysts, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cucumber, Java, TypeScript, API testing, and WireMock or similar tools.
• Good knowledge of Gherkin, SQL, Jenkins, qTest, and Postman or Bruno.
• Experience preparing test cases and test documentation.
• Practical experience using AI-powered tools, plus knowledge of JavaScript, AngularJS, and Angular.
• Availability for hybrid work from Gdańsk or Warszawa, including three office days per week.

Nice to have

• ISTQB certification.
• Knowledge of BPMN 2.0, UML, and IREB.
• Experience with banking projects or the financial services sector.
