TL;DR
Software Architect (.NET) (.NET/SQL): Designing and evolving scalable, secure, high-performance software architectures for enterprise solutions with an accent on .NET, SQL Server, distributed systems, and cloud readiness. Focus on defining architectural standards, reviewing integrations and APIs, optimizing database performance, mentoring development teams, and promoting CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.
Location: Brazil; remote home office

What you will do
- Design and evolve scalable, secure and high-performance software architectures aligned with business goals.
- Define architectural patterns, technical standards, engineering best practices and architectural documentation for .NET-based solutions.
- Conduct architecture reviews across squads and provide structured technical feedback.
- Design RESTful APIs, relational database architectures, data models and integration strategies.
- Define approaches for microservices, event-driven architecture, distributed systems and communication contracts.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on cloud-ready solutions, CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in .NET Core, .NET 6+, ASP.NET Core Web API and advanced C# concepts.
- Advanced knowledge of LINQ, async/await, generics, reflection, dependency injection and design patterns including SOLID, DDD, CQRS, Repository and Mediator.
- Experience with microservices architecture, distributed systems and relational databases using SQL Server or an equivalent technology.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure or an equivalent cloud platform; familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD practices.
- Ability to support and mentor senior- and mid-level developers and guide technical execution across teams.
- Advanced English is required.
Nice to have
- Experience with event-driven architectures and technologies such as Azure Service Bus, Event Grid or Kafka.
- Familiarity with GraphQL in .NET applications, Identity Server, JWT, OAuth 2.0, CQRS, MediatR and Domain-Driven Design.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Familiarity with observability tools including Application Insights, Datadog or Grafana.
