Senior Java Automation Tester (Java)

Location: Hybrid work from Gdynia, Gdańsk, or Warszawa, Poland, with 3 days per week from the office.

Salary: 900–1,100 PLN per day on a B2B contract.

What you will do

• Design and implement automated tests for data transformations, data distribution, integrations, backend services, and APIs.
• Validate data quality and consistency across multiple systems, including database and backend process verification.
• Develop and maintain scalable test automation frameworks following Clean Code principles.
• Create and execute regression suites integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze test results, investigate defects, and provide test evidence and reporting.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, Product Owners, and other teams while mentoring less experienced testers.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in test automation, preferably in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 17+, JUnit 5, SQL, database testing, and data validation.
• Experience testing data quality, data transformations, integration processes, backend services, and REST or SOAP APIs.
• Practical experience with RESTAssured and knowledge of QA methodologies, test design, defect management, and regression testing.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or Bamboo, Jira, and test management tools.
• Availability for hybrid work from Gdynia, Gdańsk, or Warszawa, with 3 office days per week.

• Experience with Kafka-based integrations and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with Allure reporting or Master Data Management solutions.
• Experience using AI-assisted testing tools and practices.
