Business-System Analyst (REST API)

Location: Hybrid work from offices in Gdynia, Gdańsk, Warszawa, or Łódź, with 2–3 days per week in the office

Salary: 800–1,050 PLN/day on a B2B contract

What you will do

• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements through stakeholder interviews and workshops.
• Create functional and non-functional requirements, technical documentation, process flows, and system specifications.
• Prepare user stories and Gherkin-based acceptance criteria, along with UML diagrams and BPMN process models.
• Design REST APIs, system integrations, data flows, and logical and physical data models.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, QA engineers, and data teams to validate requirements and technical solutions.
• Support data governance, quality assurance, peer reviews, and activities throughout the SDLC.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in business analysis and/or system analysis.
• Practical experience gathering and documenting requirements.
• Experience designing REST APIs and understanding API architecture and integration patterns.
• Experience with BPMN, UML, Gherkin, logical and physical data modelling, data governance, and data management.
• Intermediate SQL skills and experience with Agile environments, SDLC methodologies, and GitHub or similar version control tools.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher, with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
