TL;DR
Software Engineer (Fullstack/Vue): Building, deploying, and supporting secure full-stack enterprise applications, APIs, services, databases, and integrations with an accent on production reliability, maintainability, and end-to-end troubleshooting. Focus on designing practical solutions under changing requirements, resolving business-critical issues, and working across multiple application layers.
Location: Hybrid in San Salvador, El Salvador; office days required

What you will do
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and support full-stack enterprise applications, APIs, services, databases, and integrations.
- Translate business needs and evolving requirements into practical technical solutions with product, project, and technical stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot application, database, integration, and production issues using code analysis, logs, monitoring, testing, and data investigation.
- Provide estimates, status updates, risk assessments, progress reports, and recommended next steps.
- Create technical documentation covering implementation, testing, deployment, support, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Enrolled in the fifth year of a Software Engineering or Computer Science degree program, or equivalent relevant education and experience.
- At least two years of experience as a Software Engineer or in a similar role.
- Hands-on experience with some or all of C#, C++, Angular, and JavaScript, plus web development technologies.
- Database proficiency with SQL; Microsoft SQL Server is preferred.
- Experience with source control, unit testing, and technologies such as HTTP, SSL, XML/SOAP, WCF, and multithreading.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
Nice to have
- Experience with high-availability enterprise solutions, transaction processing, payments, financial services, telecommunications, retail technology, or vendor integrations.
- Experience with C++/T-SQL, C#/.NET, JavaScript, Angular, Vue, PHP, and HTML/CSS.
- Experience using approved AI-assisted development tools responsibly.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, code reviews, documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
