TL;DR
Senior Experience Designer, UI Design (Contractor) (Brand/UI Design and Generative AI): Creating brand identities, stylescapes, brand books, concept visuals, and interface designs for client engagements with an accent on graphic design craft, AI-powered creative tools, and visual systems. Focus on leading brand workshops, building production-ready UI concepts, and presenting creative rationale to client stakeholders.
Location: Remote, with the preferred candidate based in Canada and working hours aligned to ET (Eastern Timezone). Legally eligible to work in Canada.

What you will do
- Design stylescapes, moodboards, visual explorations, brand books, and visual identity systems.
- Plan and participate in client brand workshops, translating live discussions into visual concepts.
- Use generative image and video tools to create concept visuals, campaign assets, and creative options.
- Support UI and product design engagements using Figma and agentic design tools.
- Partner with product designers and developers to maintain consistent brand and visual craft across UI deliverables.
- Present concepts and creative rationale to client stakeholders across multiple engagements.
Requirements
- 8+ years of design experience, including significant agency or consulting experience.
- Strong graphic design fundamentals in typography, layout, brand systems, and visual composition.
- Portfolio-demonstrated experience with generative image and video tools such as Midjourney, Figma Make, Figma Weave, or Veo 3.
- Experience creating stylescapes and brand books and participating in or leading brand workshops.
- Working proficiency in Figma and exposure to agentic AI design workflows such as Claude Code or Claude Design.
- Excellent client-facing presentation and communication skills, plus legal eligibility to work in Canada.
Nice to have
- Experience with BMAD or similar agentic delivery frameworks.
- A portfolio spanning brand, graphic, UI, and product design.
- Familiarity with Runway, Sora, Adobe Firefly, or other generative tools.
- Front-end or prototyping familiarity.
