Senior Brand Designer (AI)

Location: Remote in the Americas, within ±3 hours of U.S. Mountain Time (MDT, UTC−06:00), or in-office in San Francisco

Clerk provides developer infrastructure for user identity, organization management, and billing flows through full-stack React components and APIs.

What you will do

• Lead the creative direction and design of the Clerk brand across brand identity, the .com, product launches, and other brand assets.
• Collaborate with UI engineers, animators, product designers, and other disciplines to create an elevated brand identity.
• Develop innovative digital experiences and scalable tools that increase the quality and output of brand design.
• Work with UI engineers to bring Figma designs to life with a high standard of pixel-level quality.
• Expand the visual language, asset library, brand design system, and design processes.

Requirements

• Senior or higher-level experience as a Brand Designer or Visual Designer.
• Experience with developer tools, AI, or infrastructure-related brands.
• Must live in the Americas and within ±3 hours of U.S. Mountain Time.
• Deep technical fluency and understanding of interactive software design for the web.
• Iterative, ship-and-iterate working style with strong self-direction and ownership of time.

• Ability to author production-ready front-end code.
