Brand Designer (AI)

Location: Remote in the Americas, within ±3 hours of U.S. Mountain Time; in-office option available in San Francisco

Clerk provides developer infrastructure for user identity, organization management, and billing flows, including full-stack React components and hooks for AI software.

What you will do

• Lead creative direction and elevate the Clerk brand across brand identity, the website, product launches, and other brand assets.
• Collaborate with UI engineers, animators, product designers, and other cross-disciplinary partners.
• Develop innovative digital brand experiences and scalable tools that increase high-quality brand output.
• Work with UI engineering to translate Figma designs into polished, pixel-perfect experiences.
• Expand the visual language, asset library, brand design system, and design processes.

Requirements

• Senior or higher-level experience as a Brand Designer or Visual Designer.
• Experience with developer tools, AI, or infrastructure-related brands.
• Based in the Americas and located within ±3 hours of U.S. Mountain Time (MDT, UTC−06:00).
• Strong technical fluency and deep understanding of interactive software design for the web.
• Iterative, ship-and-iterate working style with strong autonomy and self-direction.

• Ability to author production-ready front-end code.
