Engineering Specialist (Equipment Assembly & Electrical Testing)

Location: Woodlands, Singapore. Onsite role in a cleanroom manufacturing environment; future support for a 12-hour night shift may be required. Travel: None.

What you will do

• Rotate across workstations to assemble, integrate, configure, and test high-precision sputtering equipment.
• Perform assembly and electrical integration using engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Use multimeters and oscilloscopes for measurement, verification, troubleshooting, and calibration.
• Calibrate, diagnose, repair, and functionally test electronic control boxes and PCBAs.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and system issues to maintain equipment performance and reliability.
• Support engineers with design modifications, engineering changes, process improvements, and technical problem-solving.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Interest in hands-on machine assembly, electrical testing, troubleshooting, and complex equipment systems.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a self-motivated, learning-oriented approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineers and cross-functional teams.
• Comfort working in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to support a 12-hour night shift in the future if business requirements arise.

Nice to have

• Experience in equipment assembly, maintenance, electrical testing, manufacturing, automation, or related technical environments.
• Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting, wiring, calibration, or electronic repair.
• Experience using multimeters and oscilloscopes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
