Manufacturing Operator 1 (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Livermore, California, United States; onsite manufacturing and cleanroom work

What you will do

• Perform assembly, testing, inspection, and basic troubleshooting according to documented procedures.
• Set up, calibrate, and perform routine preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Collect operating data and make process or equipment adjustments within defined limits.
• Follow work instructions, process flows, safety guidelines, and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on tests, experiments, and process improvement initiatives.
• Support onboarding and training for new technicians or operators.

Requirements

• Less than one year of related experience.
• No formal occupational training is typically required.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing and cleanroom environment while using required PPE.
• Manual dexterity, computer literacy, mathematics, statistics, communication, and technical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work with equipment, chemicals, microscopes, and precision instruments.
• Regular schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.
