Senior Java Fullstack Engineer

Location: Tempe, Arizona, United States; hybrid with onsite work required Tuesday through Thursday and a face-to-face interview.

What you will do

• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, architects, technical leads, and internal customers to understand requirements and deliver enterprise solutions.
• Maintain and enhance enterprise services, applications, and platforms using domain-driven design and test-driven development.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues while improving application security and performance.
• Create project specifications, requirements, and estimates.
• Research and implement technologies that improve current systems, security, and performance.
• Contribute to coding standards and ensure alignment with long-term enterprise architecture and security guidelines.

Requirements

• Seven years of full-stack development experience.
• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, REST, Angular, Node, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, PostgreSQL, data platforms, persistence frameworks, and query performance tuning.
• Experience with Apache Kafka, Gradle, Terraform, Helm, Kustomize, GitHub Actions, and DevOps practices including CI/CD.
• Knowledge of object-oriented design, Agile/Scrum, security vulnerabilities, Linux/Unix shell scripting, disaster recovery, and Microsoft Office tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent experience; willingness to support rotational after-hours calls.
