Production Development Engineer (Electrification)

Location: Onsite in Stryama, Plovdiv, Bulgaria

What you will do

• Optimize assembly methods, production processes, equipment, cycle times, and material usage.
• Manage continuous improvement initiatives to increase manufacturing efficiency, stability, and performance.
• Support production operations through engineering expertise, problem resolution, and technology implementation.
• Define working-phase sequences for new production processes while meeting product cost and equipment investment targets.
• Monitor production performance, analyze operational data, and prepare structured reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, support workforce training, maintain documentation, and ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong problem-solving skills and practical knowledge of continuous improvement concepts.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Collaborative, solution-focused, results-oriented, and proactive approach with strong communication skills.
• Experience in engineering or manufacturing is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel abroad to support business continuity.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of 5S and Lean Six Sigma.
• Experience with SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Lean Six Sigma certification.
