Return to Work Coordinator

Location: Brisbane, Australia; hybrid role requiring at least three days per week in the office

What you will do

• Manage outsourced return-to-work coordination for injured workers, including triaging and lodging new claims.
• Develop and maintain return-to-work plans aligned with employer obligations and best practices.
• Liaise with injured workers, employers, insurers, and other stakeholders throughout the return-to-work process.
• Review claims, assess progress, and recommend actions that support recovery and return to work.
• Administer injury management software, prepare reports, and maintain accurate documentation.

Requirements

• Experience in claims management at an insurer or employer.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with strong attention to accuracy and detail.
• Proactive approach to managing tasks and identifying improvements.
• Confidence in making decisions and evaluating options.
• Appropriate approval to work in Australia is required.
• Successful applicants must complete a criminal and bankruptcy check before commencing employment.

Nice to have

• Tertiary qualifications in allied health.
• Return to Work Coordinator accreditation.
• Experience with claims management and injury management systems.
