Cyber Defence Senior Director (AI/ML)

Location: Commutable distance to the London (Canary Wharf) or New Delhi (Gurgaon) offices preferred

What you will do

• Set the strategy, priorities, governance, and performance expectations for global Cybersecurity Operations.
• Lead and develop a globally distributed organization of approximately 36 cybersecurity professionals.
• Integrate monitoring, detection, incident response, recovery, vulnerability management, and offensive security into an end-to-end Security Operations Center.
• Serve as senior incident commander during major cyber events, coordinating response, recovery, executive escalation, and post-incident reviews.
• Advance threat hunting, detection engineering, attack surface management, adversarial testing, security tooling, automation, and telemetry across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
• Lead cyber crisis preparedness through response playbooks, exercises, cross-functional coordination, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of progressive cybersecurity leadership experience in complex, global organizations.
• Deep expertise across SOC operations, incident response, detection, vulnerability management, offensive security, and cloud security.
• Experience building and maturing globally distributed cybersecurity operations capabilities.
• Experience leading large, multidisciplinary teams in consulting or similarly complex multinational environments.
• Calm, decisive leadership during major incidents and high-pressure executive situations, with the ability to set strategy and improve enterprise-scale performance.
• English required for collaboration across global teams; CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or equivalent credentials are advantageous but not required.
