Maintenance Specialist 2nd Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Pinetops, North Carolina, United States; onsite, second shift

What you will do

• Maintain and preserve the efficiency of equipment, production lines, and facilities.
• Work with engineering and management to specify maintenance plans for new production lines.
• Improve reliability, maintainability, safety, operational efficiency, and energy efficiency.
• Respond to emergencies, breakdowns, malfunctions, and other technical problems to minimize production disruption.
• Manage and update technical documentation for equipment, production lines, and facilities.
• Implement health, safety, and environmental guidelines and directives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience as a maintenance technician.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting.
• Knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes, planned maintenance, backlog management, and technical engineering practices.
• Ability to use hand tools such as tape measures, calipers, and grinders, safely use a ladder, and lift, push, or pull up to 40 lb.
• Already authorized to work in the United States.
