Cloud Security Manager (AWS)

Location: Atlanta, GA; hybrid schedule with 2 days onsite and 3 days remote each week

Salary: $139,000–$258,000 annually, plus bonus eligibility, 401(k) match, and health and welfare benefits.

What you will do

• Own the Wiz security platform across hirify.global's AWS accounts, including configuration, policy tuning, integrations, connectors, dashboards, and custom rules.
• Monitor and prioritize CSPM, vulnerability, IAM, entitlement, container, and data security findings.
• Drive remediation of findings from audits, penetration tests, vulnerability scans, and assessments through corrective action plans, tracking, validation, and closure.
• Assess AWS security across IAM, VPC, S3, EC2, KMS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub, and Config.
• Support secure architecture reviews, least-privilege IAM, network segmentation, encryption standards, and cloud-native security improvements.
• Report remediation metrics and risk trends to the CISO while collaborating with engineering, DevOps, infrastructure, auditors, and penetration-testing vendors.

Requirements

• 5+ years of cloud security experience with significant hands-on experience securing AWS environments.
• Practical experience administering and operationalizing a CNAPP or CSPM platform; Wiz experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience managing remediation from audits, penetration tests, or vulnerability scans and driving cross-functional accountability to closure.
• Strong knowledge of AWS security controls, including IAM, VPC, KMS, S3, CloudTrail, Security Hub, GuardDuty, and Config.
• Understanding of cloud vulnerabilities and misconfigurations, plus experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, NIST CSF, or similar frameworks.
• Strong communication and organizational skills for explaining technical risk and managing concurrent remediation efforts.

Nice to have

• AWS Security Specialty or Solutions Architect certification.
• Infrastructure-as-Code security scanning with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Container and Kubernetes security experience with EKS or ECS.
• Experience coordinating with external penetration-testing vendors and auditors.
• Scripting or automation experience with Python, AWS CLI, or Lambda.
