MRI Technologist

Location: On-site at the Vancouver, British Columbia clinic; applicants must live within a 45-minute commute and be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Salary: CAD 83,000–93,500 base salary per year, depending on experience and geographic location.

What you will do

• Operate MRI scanners and perform high-quality hirify.global scans while following current scan protocols and patient-safety standards.
• Complete MRI examinations, including advanced MR studies, independently and accurately.
• Prepare scan rooms, clean equipment, and order required supplies.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and report them to the appropriate department.
• Use PACS and other software systems to transfer and post-process images, ensuring all required steps are complete.
• Train new technologists on patient safety, room preparation, communication, image acquisition, time management, and post-processing.

Requirements

• At least two years of clinical work experience with strong MRI imaging and patient-safety knowledge.
• Completion of an accredited MRI or radiologic technology program.
• Licensure with ARMRIT, ARRT (MR), or an equivalent board, depending on the role location.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Ability to operate MRI equipment, perform advanced MR studies, assess image quality, and explain medical procedures clearly to patients.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada and must not require current or future employer visa sponsorship.
