Expert Consulting - Consultant (Refinery Capital Projects)

Location: Travel as required by business needs, including collaboration with clients on-site.

What you will do

• Advise clients on large-scale refinery capital projects from feasibility and Pre-FEED/FEED through final execution.
• Provide technical input, reduce CAPEX, minimize project risk, and manage stakeholders such as engineering companies.
• Conduct quantitative data analyses to generate hypotheses and support project decisions.
• Communicate insights and recommendations while supporting change execution with clients and stakeholders.
• Lead project workstreams autonomously and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the Energy practice.
• Travel as required to work with clients on-site.

Requirements

• 7–12 years of relevant experience, primarily in large-scale engineering projects, EPC, FEED, engineering firms, or refinery companies.
• Experience working on complex oil and gas projects across design, procurement, and execution stages.
• Bachelor’s, Honours, or Master’s degree preferred, with at least 7 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and quantitative analysis skills.
• Ability to formulate research approaches, communicate insights precisely, and develop business strategies.
• Demonstrated leadership, adaptability, cross-functional coordination, and ability to manage increasingly complex project components.
