Treasury Operations Manager (Fintech)

Location: New York City, NY; hybrid work with three office days per week. Singapore-based employees work on-site five days per week.

Annual base salary: $130,000–$160,000 in New York. Compensation outside New York follows the applicable market and location-based pay range.

What you will do

• Own merchant settlement setup and daily execution, including payout schedules, currencies, funding instructions, reserves, holdbacks, and bank details.
• Monitor settlement activity, resolve failed or delayed payouts, investigate reconciliation breaks and statement discrepancies, and support merchant inquiries.
• Execute and reconcile stablecoin settlements, on/off-ramp conversions, wallet operations, custody movements, and on-chain transfers.
• Manage daily cash positioning and liquidity across multiple entities, countries, and currencies, including prefunding thresholds and proactive fund movements.
• Maintain short-term cash forecasts and reporting covering balances, settlement obligations, operating needs, and funding requirements.
• Execute FX trades, intercompany funding, wires, ACH, SEPA, and SWIFT payments while managing relationships with banks, custodians, exchanges, and other financial partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in financial, treasury, or payment operations within fintech, payments, banking, or regulated financial services.
• Deep understanding of settlement operations, prefunding, payment cutoffs, liquidity management, and multi-currency, multi-entity operations.
• Hands-on experience with wire, ACH, SWIFT, SEPA, or local payment rails in a controlled environment.
• Experience with FX execution, intercompany funding, cash positioning, short-term forecasting, reconciliation, and advanced Excel analysis.
• Ability to work from the New York City office three days per week for the hybrid role.

Nice to have

• Experience in an early-stage or high-growth startup.
• Experience with stablecoin or crypto settlements, custody platforms, exchanges, or OTC counterparties.
• Familiarity with FBO account structures, safeguarding requirements, or money transmitter rules.
• Experience with Modern Treasury, NetSuite, BigQuery, or similar platforms.
• Experience establishing banking, payment, or custody relationships for new markets.
