Applications Developer - Oracle TRCS (Tax Reporting Cloud Service)

Location: New York, United States; hybrid work with at least three days per week in the local office or onsite with clients

Base salary: $97,600–$195,100 per year, with potential performance-based incentives.

What you will do

• Oversee the application lifecycle, including design, development, testing, functionality validation, and security compliance.
• Lead Oracle TRCS enhancement activities across a senior-level portfolio and support application performance during monthly, quarterly, and year-end close cycles.
• Translate business requirements into scalable Oracle EPM solutions that improve tax reporting efficiency, controls, and reporting capabilities.
• Implement and maintain tax reporting processes covering data collection, tax provision calculations, and compliant reporting.
• Provide technical support, investigate issues, troubleshoot production problems, and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Support development, testing, deployment, system monitoring, and process optimization activities.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience with tax software, preferably Oracle TRCS, or experience with FCCS, including workflows, business rules, reporting, and Smart View.
• Knowledge of EPM software development and experience implementing and maintaining tax reporting processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills, quick learning ability, and experience troubleshooting technical issues across cloud and on-premise environments.
• Ability to work from the New York office at least three days per week or work onsite with clients.
