Safety Technician (Occupational Health and Safety)

Location: Monte Mor-SP, Brazil; frequent travel to field activities, customer sites, and operational teams is required for approximately 20% of the time.

What you will do

• Implement, monitor, and continuously improve Occupational Health and Safety programs across site and field operations.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations, and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Develop and maintain risk assessments, safety procedures, and work instructions in line with legal, regulatory, and corporate requirements.
• Deliver safety training and awareness initiatives for managers and employees.
• Support field teams, customer-site activities, contractor management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Completed technical degree in Occupational Safety, Safety Technician certification, or an equivalent qualification.
• Solid knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety practices and Brazilian Regulatory Standards (NRs).
• Practical experience with safety training, inspections, incident investigations, and risk assessments in operational environments.
• Intermediate English skills for reading, writing, and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of advanced Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or similar data analysis tools.
• Strong communication, organizational, relationship-building, and travel-readiness skills.
