TL;DR
Fund Finance Associate, Private Equity (Fund Finance/Private Equity): Overseeing the finance, operations, accounting, reporting, and service-provider relationships for private equity funds with an accent on NAV review, tax and regulatory reporting, cash management, and fund controls. Focus on reviewing fund and SPV accounts, coordinating audits and advisers, monitoring risks and compliance, and supporting acquisition and deal-closing activities.
Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid working with two days per week in the office and up to three days working from home

What you will do
- Oversee the operations and finance of private equity funds and related SPV entities.
- Review management accounts, quarterly and annual NAVs, statutory accounts, VAT and tax returns, and regulatory reports.
- Manage relationships with fund officers, banks, administrators, auditors, legal and tax advisers, and other service providers.
- Support legal, regulatory compliance, risk monitoring, policy application, and operational process standards.
- Monitor cash, fees, fund accounting, AUM reporting, performance measurement, and financial reporting.
- Support acquisitions and deal closing through AML/KYC, funding, bid costs, engagement letters, and conflict-clearance activities.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant with ACCA, ACA, or CPA certification and 1–2 years of post-qualification experience.
- Experience in the alternative investment fund industry, including audit, fund administration, or in-house roles.
- Experience with private equity and fund-of-funds products is highly beneficial.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical problem-solving skills, collaboration, independent working ability, and effective communication.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and use AI tools responsibly to improve productivity and solve business problems.
