Product Manager - Physical AI (Robotics): Building and scaling autonomy capabilities for high-mobility industrial inspection robots with an accent on perception, navigation, behavior, locomotion, and operational design domains. What you will do
- Translate strategic portfolio goals into detailed technical roadmaps for perception, behavior, navigation, and locomotion.
- Use key-account insights to prioritize development around customer business value and measurable product outcomes.
- Define the autonomy product strategy, including resilience, reliability, coverage, and Operational Design Domains.
- Work with robotics R&D teams to convert product needs into functional specifications and balance engineering trade-offs.
- Establish robot-performance KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and improve reliability, safety, and navigation efficiency.
- Coordinate with field engineering to deploy features, analyze real-world performance, and feed lessons into the product backlog.
Requirements
- Degree in engineering, science, robotics, computer science, or an equivalent field.
- Experience with industrial customers and robotic inspection use cases.
- Expertise in at least one robotics discipline: perception, path planning, navigation, robot behavior, or control and locomotion.
- Experience in technical product management for complex hardware-software products such as autonomous vehicles or mobile robots.
- Experience defining Operational Design Domains and managing safety and performance validation for robotic or autonomous systems.
- Ability to translate ambiguous customer needs into concrete development sprints and communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience deploying robotics in industrial, unstructured, or outdoor environments.
- Experience with mission-critical systems or safety-certified development processes.
- Familiarity with ROS2, simulation environments, and data-driven regression testing.
