Senior Cyber Incident Responder (Cybersecurity)

hirify.global operates a healthcare organization requiring enterprise cybersecurity and protection of confidential customer information.

What you will do

• Lead escalated cyber defense incidents as a subject matter expert and provide technical support to enterprise cyber defense technicians.
• Analyze security alerts, host logs, network traffic, firewall logs, and intrusion detection system logs to identify threats.
• Perform incident triage, determine scope and impact, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend remediation.
• Conduct forensic evidence collection, malware analysis, intrusion correlation, threat analysis, and direct system remediation.
• Perform cyber defense trend analysis and reporting and provide recommendations to leadership.
• Track and document incidents from initial detection through final resolution while following the Cyber Incident Response Plan.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in malware analysis, digital forensics, data or network analysis, penetration testing, trends analysis, information assurance, or cyber incident handling.
• Experience identifying, capturing, containing, and reporting malware and preserving evidence integrity according to established procedures or national standards.
• Experience securing network communications, categorizing vulnerabilities and attacks, protecting networks against malware, and performing damage assessments.
• Experience using security event correlation tools and designing incident response for cloud service models.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, software engineering, information systems, computer engineering, or a related field.
• Position is remote from Pennsylvania, United States.

Nice to have

• Six years of information security and systems analysis experience using the HITRUST Common Security Framework or NIST 800-83 framework.
• Master's degree in a relevant technical field.
• Cyber incident or security certifications, including ITIL and two of CISSP, GCFA, GCIH, GCFE, GNFA, GREM, or GCCC.
