What you will do

• Produce topical, news-focused explainer and feature videos.
• Pitch ideas, research topics, and write scripts for video journalism.
• Collaborate with reporters and editors across news desks.
• Interview industry leaders and policymakers.
• Work on deadline while maintaining newsroom accuracy and urgency.
• Build a portfolio of published video work with coaching and feedback.

Requirements

• Prior video journalism experience, including camera and editing software skills.
• Examples of videos personally shot, written, and produced; samples are requested during initial screening.
• Ability to pitch, research, write scripts, and conduct interviews.
• Ability to collaborate and work under deadline pressure.
• By the start of Summer 2027, completion of at least three years of undergraduate study, recent graduation, or enrollment in a graduate journalism program.
