Data Steward - Junior (GEOINT)

What you will do

• Identify and resolve data quality issues across spatial and enterprise data.
• Organize and maintain geospatial data using ArcPro, SQL, Excel, and Access.
• Transfer data between formats and networks while supporting the full data life cycle.
• Assist with testing scripts and automating routine data management tasks.
• Update the requirements database and help train community members on its use.
• Support Foundation GEOINT operations and intelligence production alongside senior team members.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Poly.
• Two years of relevant experience in data management, GIS, geospatial analysis, or a related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of GEOINT, including collection, exploitation, analysis, and product delivery.
• Basic understanding of GIS and georeferencing, with hands-on experience using ArcPro, Excel, or similar data organization tools.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate and collaborate with technical and non-technical colleagues.

Nice to have

• Coursework or an associate degree in GIS, geospatial sciences, information systems, computer science, or a related field.
• Military experience in geospatial, intelligence, or data-related work, or completion of relevant military or government training.
• Exposure to SQL, Oracle, Access, enterprise geodatabases, data schemas, metadata, or extraction specifications.
• Exposure to Python or R, Esri Online, Portal or Enterprise, and Tableau.
• GEOINT Professional Certification – Fundamentals or Geospatial Data Management.
