Solutions Engineer

Location: Remote for candidates within a couple of hours of GMT, or based in Dublin; occasional travel to collaborate in person or attend company events.

What you will do

• Run technical demos and explain platform, API, and cross-system integration flows.
• Gather customer requirements and design solutions using the &Open platform, customer systems, HubSpot, Zapier, Make, and other tools.
• Set up integrations, workflows, and automations, then drive adoption and keep implementations operational.
• Troubleshoot integrations and bespoke solutions, including inspecting requests and payloads to identify failures.
• Create and review documentation, playbooks, and implementation guidance.
• Share recurring customer needs with Product and Engineering and make small, contained code changes when appropriate.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, implementation, or technical account management at a B2B software company.
• Experience delivering integrations end to end and working with APIs, webhooks, API documentation, requests, and payloads.
• Hands-on experience with a CRM or marketing platform such as HubSpot and automation tools such as Zapier or Make.
• Ability to read code, write scripts, and deliver small code changes with engineering review.
• Strong customer-facing communication, technical demonstration, requirements gathering, writing, and documentation skills.
• Based in Dublin or able to work remotely within a couple of hours of GMT.

Nice to have

• Experience working at a small B2B software company without a separate delivery team.
• Practical experience using AI tools, prompts, workflows, agents, or prototypes to improve work.
