Senior Software Developer (Vue)

Location: Remote

Salary: $110,000–$125,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and develop backend services with .NET 9 and C#, alongside frontend functionality with Vue.js or similar JavaScript frameworks.
• Own significant parts of multi-month projects from technical design through development, testing, and delivery.
• Build secure, reliable, and maintainable software for customers with demanding security and reliability requirements.
• Apply domain-driven design and microservices principles to product development.
• Design relational databases, build REST APIs, and maintain asynchronous messaging and distributed systems.
• Contribute to AI functionality and evaluate models and approaches for performance, cost, reliability, and fit.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional software development experience with strong backend experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with .NET, C#, modern .NET, Vue.js, and TypeScript.
• Experience with domain-driven design, microservices architecture, relational databases, and REST APIs.
• Regular use of AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude.
• Ability to work across the stack, take ownership, communicate blockers early, and collaborate in a small development team.

Nice to have

• Experience building AI-powered product functionality, including models or AI pipelines.
• Experience with message brokers, asynchronous systems, or high-traffic distributed applications.
• Experience building secure software for healthcare, manufacturing, or similarly regulated environments.
